About Fyle

Fyle Elementary School is one of four K-3 buildings in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. It is located at 133 Vollmer Parkway. Please do not be confused by the fact that Fyle Elementary School is located on Vollmer Parkway, as Vollmer Elementary School is located at 150 Telephone Road. As of fall 2025, Fyle welcomed a portion of the district's Universal Pre-Kindergarten class to its building. 

We are incredibly proud of our students and the programs we offer to support their growth and success. Just as important is the strong partnership we share with our families—parental involvement plays a vital role in every child’s learning journey. At Fyle Elementary, our guiding motto, “Together, every student, every day,” reflects our belief that collaboration between home and school is essential to student achievement. We work hand-in-hand with parents to ensure every child feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. 

Our students and staff embrace a “work hard, play hard” mentality. This helps create a balanced environment where students are motivated to learn and encouraged to have fun. From rigorous academics to joyful school events, we take pride in nurturing well-rounded learners within a warm, inclusive community where every child can thrive. 

Fyle’s mascot is Adabu. He’s a lion cub! This name means respect or politeness in Swahili.
